I am all about sharing food, sharing recipes, and sharing good bottles of wine (OK maybe less about sharing the wine…). I’ve started this blog so I can post about my latest attempts at culinary greatness and culinary failures, cook-offs and events, and other random food-related stuff that strikes my fancy.

My kitchen is about 30 square feet and I lack the space and cash for a lot of fancy gadgets, so I like to keep it simple. I am hoping the imperative to post frequently will motivate me to try ever more ambitious food-related projects. I confess I have never made a souffle. Or hollandaise sauce (UPDATE: I have now made hollandaise sauce. You may proceed). Or a viccysoise (although I know what it is). Anyway, enjoy, feel free to comment, and I promise not to coin any new food-related terminology. Rachael Ray, I’m looking at you.
